Pages for Healing is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing books, educational toys, and learning resources to hospitalized children in historically underserved communities.

We believe that health, language, and social background should never influence a child's access to education.

Our Story

Salma Fareed is a senior at Hathaway Brown School in Shaker Heights, Ohio. She is passionate about bridging the education and literacy divide among different communities, because social background should never influence someone's opportunity for success.

She hopes that Pages for Healing will help young children to overcome barriers to their education and motivate them to persevere.
